George Braque

Decor Animation

Have you ever imagined dining in a restaurant where the walls come alive with animated paintings? Picture yourself seated, savoring a delicious meal, while slow-moving animations inspired by iconic artists like Magritte, Mondrian, Braque, and Newman subtly transform the ambiance around you. This innovative concept blurs the lines between art and dining, creating a unique and immersive experience for patrons.

Inspired by this vision, I embarked on a creative journey to bring this concept to life. Crafting a series of four decor animations, each inspired by the distinctive style of my favorite artists, I set out to capture their essence in motion.

One of these animations, inspired by the renowned artist George Braque, took shape during a serendipitous encounter on the streets of Vancouver. As I stumbled upon a talented guitarist and singer, I couldn’t help but be inspired by his passion and skill. Seizing the opportunity, I approached him with the idea of collaborating on the Braque-inspired animation.

Together, we embarked on a collaborative journey, blending music and visuals to create a mesmerizing experience. The result? A captivating animation that pays homage to Braque’s artistic vision while infusing it with the soulful melodies of the streets.
